This policy explains what personal data getusefulsounds.com collects, why, and what rights you have. We collect as little as possible.

1. Who is responsible

Useful Sounds is responsible for your data. Full seller details are listed in our Terms.

2. What we collect

• Order data: your email address (provided by PayPal), the products you bought, the amount, the date and the PayPal order reference.
• Technical data: our hosting provider automatically processes your IP address and basic request information to deliver and secure the site.

We do not receive or store your card or bank details. PayPal handles them. We do not create customer accounts, and we do not use advertising or analytics trackers.

3. Why we use it

• To complete your purchase and deliver your downloads (performance of a contract).
• To send your order confirmation and provide support.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
• To prevent fraud and keep the site secure (legitimate interest).

We will only send you marketing emails if you explicitly opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.

4. Who we share it with

We use these service providers to run the Store. They process data only on our behalf:

• PayPal: payment processing.
• Google (Firebase / Google Cloud): database and file storage.
• Vercel: website hosting.
• Resend: sending order emails.

Some of these providers process data outside Israel and the EU, for example in the United States, under their own safeguards for international transfers. We do not sell your data.

5. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as needed to provide support and to meet tax and accounting requirements. After that, we delete them or remove your email address.

6. Security

Order data is stored in a private database that cannot be accessed from the public website. Access is limited to the Store owner and protected with two-factor authentication. Download links are personal, time-limited and limited in number.

7. Cookies and local storage

We do not use tracking or advertising cookies. Your cart is saved in your browser's local storage so it survives a page refresh. PayPal may set cookies needed to process your payment when you use its checkout.

8. Your rights

You may ask to see, correct or delete your personal data, or object to its use, by emailing getusefulsound@gmail.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may need to keep some records where the law requires it. You may also complain to the Israeli Privacy Protection Authority or, if you are in the EU, to your local data protection authority.

9. Children

The Store is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
